Cherry Bread recipe

Ingredients:

½ cup of Butter.
¾ cup of Sugar.
2 x Eggs.
1 teaspoon of Butttermilk.
1 teaspoon of Cherry soda.
½ teaspoon of Salt.
2 cups of Sifted flour.
1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence.
10 oz Jar Maraschino cherries, chopped and drained.

Preparation Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. Grease and flour a 9x5x3 inch tin.
3. In a bowl, mix the butter, sugar and eggs. Use a hand mixer to beat until creamy.
4. Add the soda, salt, flour, and buttermilk. Mix on a low speed until blended.
5. Fold in the vanilla essence, cherries, and nuts.
6. Bake for 60 minutes or until cooked.
